Burlington teen gaining confidence from lifting lifestyle

BURLINGTON, Wis. – With her most loved animals by her side, one particular Burlington athlete is not one to mess with.

Which is what tends to make Chloe Suchomel this week’s FOX6 Large Faculty Very hot Shot.

“I have definitely received a lot of assurance from it,” explained Suchomel.

Power lifting has changed Suchomel’s everyday living.

“Staying in a position to walk into a weight home or faculty or any social location and ‘I can carry a lot more than this child,'” Suchomel stated. “Or just like party tricks. Regardless of what. Anything at all like that. I will be, like, you want to arm wrestle? Let us go. With anyone. Boy or female. Whatever. It is really undoubtedly entertaining.”

Suchomel is chasing championships in power lifting.

She is a state winner and finished in next at the 2021 Nationals.

So substantially good results in so little time.

“I really started obtaining into lifting about two a long time ago, probably,” explained Suchomel. “Like light-weight stuff. I just wished to be more robust, and I wanted to that to increase my gymnastics job. And then it variety of switched about and now concentrating from gymnastics onto lifting. I was like, I am really fantastic at this. Why don’t I give it a try? Then I started off competing, and I fell in adore with lifting and electricity lifting.”
