A Warwick Superior School math and technological innovation instructor was named this year’s Exemplary Pc Science Educator in Pennsylvania for his contributions to growing the laptop science field for all college students.
Jeffrey Wile received the award at the 2022 #CSForAllPA Summit in late June. He was selected from a pool of a few finalists, which bundled Heather Hedderman of the Wattsburg Space School District and Elizabeth Woods of the Indiana Region College District, according to a Warwick Faculty District information release.
All 3 finalists spoke as element of a panel talking about their get the job done in advancing laptop or computer science prospects inside their respective districts and communities. Wile, for case in point, began a new regional Laptop Science Instructor Affiliation chapter that aided computer system science lecturers connect to study together and from each other.
“Reflecting in excess of the earlier numerous decades, I am thrilled with how significantly our laptop science plan at Warwick has developed and how Warwick college students have taken advantage to find out computing techniques in my classroom,” Wile said in the information release.
